20 Tips For Astral Projection

Merry Monday All!!

For quite awhile now, I have been practicing daily (even twice most days) meditation in hopes to finally experience leaving my body ie. OOBE (out of body experience) and eventually be able to master the skill of Astral Projection.
I have always known that we humans were meant to have abilities to help ourselves thrive and learn in this realm. Somewhere, somehow, these natural abilities were scrambled, not entirely erased, but scrambled and for most,  forgotten. Needing healing in most areas of my life, I decided to start remembering and mastering these skills and then in turn, teach others to use their hidden abilities.

I have written a couple times about the progress, but until now, didn't have a lot to share of my experience...or should I say lack of experience. Well all that has changed as I have gotten even closer to having an OOBE, I have felt my energy body detach and felt like I was sliding down a tube very fast...it didn't last very long, beings that it was a new experience, it was not abnormal for me to return to my body quickly. With more practise, I will be able to stay out of my body and to be able lead the experiences.

I will tell you more of my experiences as the days go by, but for now, I wanted to share with you 20 tips that can help you on your way to having an OOBE and/or Astral Projection (the difference between the two, is this: OOBE is your ethereal/energy body leaving your physical body. Astral Projection is when after you are out of your physical body, you go visit different realms, times, places. You can go check out the Akashic records which are records of life, to help you with your current life's needs and struggles.

So keep checking in as I will be going deeper into OOBE/Astral Projection and how it can help you.....

I would also love to hear what you think about it and any experiences you have had.....

Why Crystals Are More Than Just Rocks

Hello all.....
We've all heard that crystals are healing....some of us believe this without a doubt, but do we really know how? I came about this knowledge of how they work and I am thrilled to share this incredible insight into the what makes crystals powerful and healing, with you......

~Peace~

Crystal Are More Than Just Rocks

Crystals are alive and conscious. Looking at the periodic table of the elements; carbon is the sixth element, which is associated with ll organic chemistry and everything that is normally considered to be alive. But directly below it, one octave below, is the element of silicon, the primary element of quartz crystal and 80% of the Earth's crust.

In the 50's, scientist discovered that silicon and carbon displayed the same exact principles of life. Carbon and Silicone are the only two elements known that create life.

Science has found life-forms deep in the ocean that are alive, conscious, and reproductive, whose bodies are made up of 100% silicon, with no carbon whatsoever.

Understand, crystals are aware of far more than what we humans give them credit for. Marcel Vogel, a world-renowned scientist who holds over 200 patents, including one for the floppy disk, discovered that crystals are able to receive and send both human thoughts and emotions.  It makes since when you realize that the first radio in the world was a "crystal set". You simply placed a quartz crystal on a table, touched a wire to the crystal somewhere on it and you could hear the radio signal through the speakers. The crystal was picking up the electromagnetic signal in the radio band of frequencies.

Both human thoughts are also found in the electromagnetic range of frequencies. Thoughts are very very long wavelengths compared to radio waves, but except for the length of their wavelengths, they are exactly the same. So why wouldn't a crystal be able to pick up your thoughts?

Computers are nothing but crystals, and without crystals, computers would not exist. it is the living nature of a crystal that allows computers to do what they do. Natural crystals can hold a 'program', which means a thought pattern, and continue to replay that thought pattern for eternity unless someone erases the program. A properly programmed crystal can change and influence vast area in the human world.

This is why a crystal is much more than just a rock.

Agrimony placed under the head will made one sleep as if dead, according to ancient lore, but don't use this for insomnia; the sleeper won't awaken until the herb is removed. At one time agrimony was used to detect the presence of Witches.

There are a lot of herbs to go, so check back often for new posts...Due to my health, I won't be able to post everyday, but I will as much as possible.

Why? Because I like sharing information with you all on topics that can benefit anyone and everyone....

Your Hair Will Love These Herbal Recipes Pt. 3 (Color & Styling)

Merry Wednesday everyone! Today I am finishing the 3-part hair care series, with some great tips and henna and hair spray recipes.....Enjoy!

~Peace~

Coloring and Styling Recipes

Henna For Natural Hair Color~Unlike chemical hair colors, Henna coats your hair cuticles, gradually washing out while new hair grows in. Using Henna leaves no noticeable roots as the hair ends return to their original color as new growth comes in. When using Henna, expect the color to go through an adjustment period of two to three days. Hair might appear "brassy" at first, but don't worry; it won't stay that way. When choosing a Henna shade, remember that you can only make your hair darker. You can start with a lighter shade of dark, however. Do a test patch under your hair at the base of your neck to make sure you've chosen a color that you will be happy with.
  • 1/2 cup pure henna powder, using your choice of color (you may need to use more powder if you have very long hair.
  • 1/4 cup boiling water
  • Plastic gloves
Place the henna powder in a glass or ceramic bowl and slowly add the boiling water, stirring until you have smooth, thick paste.

To Use: With gloves on, apply the henna to clan , dry hair. over your entire head and massage well into your hair, through to the end. cover with a shower cap or plastic wrap and let sit for 15 to 45 min. (the longer the henna is left in, the darker the resulting color.). Rinse thoroughly with warm water until the water rinse clear. Shampoo and style your hair as usual.

Makes 4 oz

Citrus Hair Spray~This easy to make hair spray can be used as either a setting lotion before styling or to hold hair in place after styling. This recipe works equally well with any citrus peel including: tangerine, grapefruit, orange or a combination.
  • Zest from 1 lemon peel
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1 tbsp witch hazel
Place the lemon peel in a small bowl and pour the boiling water over it. Let it sit until it's completely cool. Remove the peel and stir in the witch haze; pour liquid into a clean container or spray bottle.

To Use: Spray on clean hair and style as usual, or spray hair after a style is done.

Makes 8oz

Henna Enhancers

When using henna o color or conditon your hair , you may also want to add natural ingredients to the paste to enhance its effect. Here are a few to try:

Egg~Adding a whole egg to your paste will help condition and giver your hair added shine.

Yogurt~A tablespoon or two o plain yogurt will give the henna paste added conditioning power---especially helpful for extra dry or damaged hair.

Spices~To enhance brown and rd shades, dd 1/4 tsp of ground spices like ginger, nutmeg, allspice or cinnamon.

Vinegar~For rich golden o copper highlights, add 3 tbsp of apple cider vinegar to the henna paste.

Tea~Like spices, teas can also enhance hair shades; Instead of mixing the dried henna powder with water, mix it with a 1/4 cup of strong tea.For brunettes try black tea; blondes look to green tea or chamomile.

Your Hair Will Love These Herbal Secrets!

G'morning everyone.

In the next couple of days, I will be sharing some great herbal hair recipes, from basic shampoo to conditioners and rinses as well as a dry shampoo recipe. Enjoy!

~Peace~

Natural Hair-Care Recipes

Shampoos

Basic Shampoo~This is a great basic shampoo that works with all hair types without stripping away your hair's natural oils. If you have oily hair then omit the oil; those with dry or damages tresses should include it.
Remember, there won't be a lot of foaming action like you get with store bought shampoo's; those foams that make you feel like you are getting a good clean, are actually stripping out your natural oils, that's why you get that squeaky sound after you rinse. Not good for your hair!

  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup liquid soap (such as castile)
  • 1/2 tsp light vegetable oil (optional)

Gently stir all of the ingredients together, being careful not to beat the mixture, as this will cause it to foam up. Pour the shampoo into a clean plastic container.

To Use: Shampoo as you normally would, then rinse well with cool water.

Yields 8 oz

Herbal Shampoo~You can add herbs to your favorite shampoo to bring out your hair's natural highlights. Chamomile makes a mild shampoo that works well for fine, light colored hair (the flowers have a light bleaching effect) . If you have dark hair, use lavender or rosemary to enhance your natural color. Some women use a rinse of rosemary tea to darken hair and cover the gray overtime.

  • 1/2 cup water
  •  2 tbsp dried or 1/3 cup fresh chamomile, rosemary or lavender
  • 1/2 cup basic shampoo (see recipe above)
  • 2 tbsp vegetable glycerin
Heat the water until just boiling and pour over the herbs. Let cool completely. Strain the liquid and then stir in the shampoo and glycerin. Pour into a clean container and then let sit overnight to thicken.

To Use: Shampoo as normal and rinse well

Yields 8 oz

Aloe Vera Shampoo~Aloe, when used as a shampoo, moisturizes dry skin and hair. Leave the shampoo on your hair for a few extra minutes to allow the aloe and oil to soak in. You can find all-natural aloe gel (not the commercial green stuff) at most natural food stores. If you are lucky enough to have your own aloe vera plant, harvest the gel from inside the prickly leaves.
  • 1/4 cup basic shampoo
  • 1/4 cup aloe vera gel
  • 1 tsp vegetable glycerin
  • 1/2 tsp avocado oil
Mix together all of the ingredients and pour into a clean container.

To Use: Shampoo as normal, then let the shampoo sit on your hair for a few extra minutes. Rinse well with cool water. This shampoo may separate between uses; gently shake to remix before using.

Yields 4 oz

Herbal Dry Shampoo~Using a dry shampoo can effectively remove grease and dirt from your hair without getting it wet. This is especially helpful for travelers, those who are ill and therefore bed-ridden, or those simply short on time. It's a bit messy, so make sure you stand on a towel or lean over a sink while using.
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch
  • 1 tsp orris root powder
  • 1 tsp ground, dried lavender
mix together all ingredients and pour into a clean , resealable container.

To Use: Massage a small amount of the powder into your scalp and through your hair. Leave on for a few minutes; then using a clean dry hair brush, brush your hair using upward strokes to remove all of the powder.

Yields 4 oz

Come back tomorrow for conditioners and rinses, color and style and health care tips!

Celtic Anamchara Ritual For Best Friends To Strengthen Their Bond

Top 'o the morning to you all!

I wanted to do something different today, something you would really enjoy; I racked my brain for a few minutes when I happen to see out my window two girls that were obviously bff's, and that's when it hit me!

In ancient Britain, the Celtic people practiced a ritual they called "Anamchara", formalizing friendships in the same way that marriage rituals formalize the bond between lovers.......So grab your bff and get ready to bond souls!

~Peace~

History Of Anamchara Ritual

Like the Native Americans who perform blood-brother rituals, the Celts of ancient Britain often formalized their friendship bonds through a ritual known as Anamchara (pronounced ahn-im-Kar-uh). This translates as "soul friend". Soul friends are partners and equals who discuss problems and share advice. They balance out each others strengths and weaknesses and feel able to share everything with one another.

By performing the Anamchara ritual you outwardly formalize your inner feelings for your friend, deepening spiritual and emotional connections that already exist. A soul friend is not a crutch , however. Rather than bearing all your burdens, she shares them so that your load is lightened. she will lend a shoulder to cry on, but remember-your friend needs you as often as you need her.

Anamchara originated in ancient Ireland, where Druids function as Anamcharas to Pagan Celtic chieftains. Later, Christian saints took over this spiritual role and provided similar guidance. The ritual bonding was especially popular in early Irish monasteries.

  • You should consider what is involved when you ask someone to be your soul Friend. Like marriage, this union should be a relationship that will last through this lifetime and beyond.

  • Many people get nervous about ritual commitments and cancel at the last minute. This only shows that your potential soul friend is taking her/his obligation seriously.

Your Anamchara Bonding Ritual

Tools Needed

Three Candles & Holders~To represent both of you and your union. The colors should have a theme of unity, for example, if your individual candles are blue and red, violet is a good color to choose for the unity candle

Three Cups Or Glasses~One large and two small

A Gift~For your soul friend. This should remain a secret until is is presented

An Alter Cloth Or Floor Covering~Optional; though it can add to the over-all ambiance

A Box Of Tissues~This ritual can be very emotional

1. Draw A Magic Circle~Gather all your items and take them to the place you have chosen for your ritual. Place the items on the ground (using the floor covering if you wish) between you and your intended soul friend, and fill the two small cups with a drink of your choice. Draw a magic circle around yourselves es, sharing the duty equally. Sit down near the middle of the circle, facing each other.

2. Unity Chalice~Each of you in turn should sip from a small cup and then pass to the other to sip. Pour the remaining contents into the larger cup and state your friendship intentions aloud:

"I am your friend
I am your teacher
I am your student
I am your dependant
I am your solace
I am your shield
I am your child, sister and mother"

Each of you then takes a drink from the filled unity chalice.

3. Light Your Candles~Now take a match and each light the candle that represents you. The unlit candle that sits between you represents your unity and the potential of two spirits on the same journey, each supporting the other. Join the flames of your individual candles to light the wick of the center one. Make a unison statement at this point, such as:

"By this ritual I am bound to you as your friend of the soul-your Anamchara.
See our flames shine brightly, burning hotter and stronger together then they can separately."

"All my wisdom and all my secrets I share with you for as long as this life endures.
Until we meet in the next life, so mote it be."

Trust that at this moment your emotions will be running very high, which is why you have that box of tissues nearby!

4. Exchange Gifts~Present to each other the gift or token you have brought to seal the ritual. A piece of Celtic Jewelry would be appropriate, as are magical crystals. When you have exchanged gifts, set all your other materials aside, leaving only the unity candle burning between you and your soul friend.

When both of you feel ready, extinguish (please use a snuffer or your fingers as blowing a flame out is disrespectful to the fire gods) the unity candle and close the circle. Lastly, take the liquid from your unity chalice outside and, together, pour it onto the ground as an offering to the Gaia, the Earth Mother. As you do this, visualize your joined spirits becoming a part of the Great Mother from whom you came.

How You Can Benefit From The Right Clothing Color

Merry Tuesday!

Ok, so we have looked at color the last couple of posts, today let's go even deeper and see how choosing the right color clothing can benefit your emotions and physical well-being. Not only do the colors you wear speak of your personality, they also affect your mood and energy levels

~Peace~

Picking The Right Color In Your Clothing

When buying clothes, try to choose fabrics made from natural fibers, such as cotton, silk and wool. These not only allow the skin to breathe but let through some light and act as a color filters, allowing different colors to pass through them into the skin.

If, for example, you have a pink wool sweater, the garment looks pink because the material has absorbed all the wavelengths of light other than pink, which it reflects. When natural light passes through the sweater, it picks up the pink vibration and passe through the skin into the body.
